About
Dr. Matthijs den Besten is Research Fellow at the Ecole Polytechnique. His interest is in collaborative forms of knowledge production. His teaching and research draws upon and feeds back to, amongst others, the fields of knowledge management and open innovation. Matthijs has a long track-record of successful international and interdisciplinary research collaborations including. He holds a PhD from Darmstadt University of Technology, a MSc from the University of Amsterdam, and an MPhil from the University of Oxford, where he returned in 2006 as research fellow before moving to the Ecole Polytechnique to join the Chaire Innovation et Régulation des Services Numériques in 2009.
